I get schoolgirl giddy when my favourite brands launch new products - especially when they are new to the line, or new shades for products I already know and love. Whilst in the magically land of Sephora the other day, I picked up 3 new products that are new in some way. Take a look...
Nars Contour Blush is something new to the brand and I couldn't be happier about it! A compact houses both a natural looking contour colour and a buttery matte highlight! It is so refreshing to see a brand take note of the fact that not everyone wants shimmer in their highlight, or the sometimes orangy tone a bronzer brings as a contour! I picked up the shade Paloma, but there are two other options to choose from (one for fairer and one for darker skin tones)
I just noticed these bad boys today; Sephora's Velvet Eyeshadow which are a mousy cream texture and brag waterproof and 16 hour claims. There were plenty of shades, but this one, Pink Feather stood out the most being a yellow shimmered pink. Swatched next to my beloved Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in 16 this runs warmer and brighter. We'll see about the claims for longevity when I put it to the test soon, but initially it took some scrubbing with non waterproof makeup remover to get it off my hands, which is a great sign!
My all time favourite brand when it comes to blushes just released a new shade which is a must for peach lovers like me. Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Captivating is a matte formula apricot/peach hue minus the pink that often comes in shades of the like. I've been wearing it daily since I got it over a week ago and it blends into bronzer seamlessly for a gorgeous sunlit glow. I am so glad I snatched this up - Tarte blushes last the longest on my skin, never separate or go patchy and the pigment is always smooth and spot on for colour!
Next up I've got my eye on the newest Dior lip offering...
