MAGIC LASHES | Revlon Lash Potion Mascara

I always get a little sceptical when mascaras claim to add both length and volume to lashes, because in my experience the formula and brush are usually geared to one or the other. Rarely does a mascara hit both marks, but I think I may have just discovered one that does, maybe it's magic?

Revlon's Lash Potion Mascara boasts volume and length, and I have to say when I saw the fluffy bristled brush I really wasn't expecting it to be great on the length end of things. Perhaps as the "potion" part of the name suggests though, this mascara has a bit of magic in it because it really does perform giving my spindly lashes a good plumping and plenty of length. Not only that, it separates like a hot damn (wasn't expecting that!) making each and every lash pronounced! Take a peek at the frighteningly extreme close up below.

I grabbed the waterproof formula, and don't experience and flaky smearing or smudging throughout the day. It holds a curl beautifully and the formula is very reminiscent to me of Maybelline's Full and Soft Mascara, which can no longer be found in Canada, in the sense that the lashes stay quite soft and fluttery.

This mascara has really impressed me, I've been reaching for it constantly which is huge as I have about 6 mascara on the go these days! For a brand that never did it for me in the mascara department I am thrilled to have given this a try.
