Sometimes I need to reel it in with the makeup. You see I actually really enjoy putting on a little makeup everyday; It's my time. Something about the ability to transform myself a little different each day has such amazing appeal. However, I do need to remind myself sometimes that less is more. Last week I posted my "Weekend Face" and I think I'll make it a thing - one day a week (at least) where I keep the products to what can fit in my hands.

My skin was looking fairly even to start with, so I took advantage of that and just buffed on a little of my Bourjois Bronzing Primer across cheekbones, forehead and top of my nose. I then blended in a bit of the Stila Convertible Color in Gerbera on to the apples of my cheeks.
Mac's Brun Eyeshadow was run through my brows, because they are simply non existant without a little beefing up. Then a gentle swipe of my Essence Stay All Day cream shadow in 02 Glammy Goes to... a nice brightening platinum, over the lids and Urban Decay 24/7 in Perversion in my tightline. I finished up with a coat of my Covergirl Lash Blast Volume in Waterproof.
In other news, Vancouver is experiencing a lovely stretch of sunshine. This is a big deal for us in the Pacific Northwest! The sundowns have been magnificent!
How was your weekend? How is the weather where you are? Do you have a weekend makeup routine?
