I'm perpetually on the hunt for the perfect peach lipstick formula. I don't think I'll ever be satisfied, but rather continue to collect pinky peach and peachy pink (they are different, don't you know) hued lipstick loveliness for the dawn of time. I want them smoothing, not mattifying or cakey, slightly glossy and pigmented enough to cover my dark pigmented lips. Not too much to ask, right?
Some women collect shoes, I prefer to diversify my lipstick collection.
Every once in a while though I come across one that I say to myself, "how did I not know about this shade sooner?". Enter in MAC Lustre Lipstick in Razzle-Dazzler, a gorgeous sheer but buildable peach lipstick that feels light on the lips thanks to the Lustre formula and has a subtle sheen to it minus any shimmer or frost. It packs enough pigment that I can pop it on in one swipe for a light colour, or build to more opaque, sans lip brush. I just don't 'do' shades and formulas that need lip brushes - who has time for that?
Since first swatch I've had this in my purse on perma-rotation. You know it's good when.
