Last week I posted about my Top Ten Skincare Products of 2015, and a promised, here are my Top Ten Makeup Products of 2015! I feel like 2015 was definitely the year I found myself having some distinct favourites and holy grail products added into my collection, and I can't wait to see what 2016 has to bring/ Let's break down the products I couldn't be without last year...
When the eyebrow-guru led brand added this shade into their DipBrow line, I knew I'd finally found my perfect match. With dark brown hair that is cool toned, it is SO hard for me to find decent brow products that don't lean red or golden. Not only does this match beautifully, but it stays all damn day - even when I tested it in sweltering Florida humidity!
A true classic that gets plenty of love for me. It sets my undereye concealer super smooth all day without creasing or crepey appearance and brightens them up at the same time.
I reached for this foundation SO much this year - its the perfect marriage of coverage and glow for me. It also mixes beautifully with other bases, and doesn't oxidize or separate during the day.
The primer I grabbed more often than not for its weightless feel and makeup extending abilities. It not only feels refreshing on the skin, but doesn't feel like you are adding another layer of makeup on your face.
So good I've actually worn it down to a nub - seriously when was the last time that happened? This is THE PERFECT chocolate brown liner. It glides on like silk, then sets all day without fading or smudging and is ace in the waterline. No other liner has gotten so much love from me!
My go-to for easy makeup/no time for makeup/makeup that needs to last forever, days. These aqua creams were designed for synchronized swimmers so they are super waterproof and don't crease or crack on me. I love this eye brightening champagne beige the most, with the rosy pink #16 not far behind.
You all know by now what a fan of these blushes I am, but Tipsy has become my all time favourite. This bright coral looks scary in the pan, but gives the most gorgeous sun kissed glow to my cheeks. It looks especially fantastic in the summer or when you've got a touch of tan, but I've seen it look amazing on pale and deep skin tones alike.
I don't talk about it nearly enough, but this is my everyday mascara for my lower lashes. It might seem high maintenance to have a separate mascara for lower lashes only, but the super skinny wand allows me to get even the tiniest lashes without getting mascara all over the place.
This was my most repurchased mascara of 2015 by far - the unique wand really lifts my lashes and gives that that multiplied intense look I love. Everytime I wear this in my Instagram photos I get comments asking how I get my lashes to look like I do, and it's always this folks!
Had to be included - this might be my all time favourite lip product EVER. The perfect peachy coral pink, in the perfect balmy texture that leaves my lips in better condition than they were before I applied. I adore these, and have bought them as gift for friends many times over. If Clarins ever discontinued these I'd be writing a strongly worded letter...just sayin...
