Occassionaly I like my makeup so much I take a picture of myself and post it on the internet. I find it kind of terrifying, honestly
Recently I've been really digging the whole monochrome look, namely with shades of soft peach, and apparently others are too, because it seems to be the look I get most complimented on! So here's a breakdown of my current favourite peach hued cosmetics for how I got this look:

Firstly, I've been trying out the new Mac Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation so you can all expect a review on that soon. What are we thinking about this? yay? nay?
Let's move on to the colour, yes?

Cheeks
I've been loving light bronzer lately, with more focus on blush colour and less on any sort of contouring. My current pale peach favourite is the Clinique Melon Pop Cheek Pop Blush, and I've found the best brush around to apply it is my Mac 109 and buff it on, building the colour as you like.

Eyes
It might seem scary to wear peach on your eyes, but I think it is so pretty and really makes my eyes pop a bit more green. I love Mac's Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Perky for an easy swipe on with a finger look, and if I want to amp it up, I'll sweep Mac Paradisco overtop, like I did in this look.
The key for me in getting a pink or peach shade to work on the eyes is to pair it with lots of mascara on curled lashes and some dark liner. In this case it was a crimp or two with my beloved Shu Uemura Lash Curler, Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara, and NYC Liquid Liner in Black with a flicked out wing. Naturally I have to groom my brows to pull it all together, and Benefit Gimme Brow does that for me well.

Lips
To complete the look, I am all about a peach lip. Mac Coral Bliss Lipstick is one of my all time favourites, because it isn't too orange, isn't too nude and isn't too pink. Its a true soft peach that has gotten plenty of love from me! Sidenote, it pairs beautifully with my tried and true Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in 05.

What do you think about my peach monochromatic look? Is it something you would wear?
