Weekend Round Up | Highlights From June 1st-12th

may beauty favourites 2015, benefit roller lash, adult hormonal acne, tired puffy eyes, birthday, giveaway, peach monochrom, hitting pan, covergirl super sizer mascara, benefit gimme brow
There's been plenty to write about this month so far. For starters, it was my birthday (not exciting) so I decided to host a giveaway with $150+ worth of makeup (exciting)! I've noticed quite a few new readers recently so here's a recap of the last two weeks with the highlights you might have missed, including how to enter the giveaway!

June started out with a round up of the Best Beauty Products for May in this post. It was heavy in the peach tone, which lead to this Friday Face post which was a peach monochrome look!

I had both a Sunday Steal with the ColourPop shadow in La La (rosegold heaven!) and a Sunday Splurge with the Benefit Gimme Brow. Both have become integral to my routine. I don't leave the house without my brows...
Speaking of leaving the house confidently, I talked openly about dealing with hormonal adult acne in this post. There's a full rundown of what worked, and didn't work to clear my skin back to its previous glory!

There was also a brand new mascara trialled for Mascara Monday this past week with the CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara. You can read the entire review with before and afters in this post. On the opposite side of the spectrum, I also wrote about products I've used so much I've hit pan. #goals.

Finally on the subject of goals, there was a new series launched this week on GirlLovesGloss: The Problem Solver Series. The first edit features a 5 step process to manage tired puffy eyes with some tried and true products for making you look human again after too little sleep, allergy season revenge or a drink or ten too many the night before.

Now on to the big news of the week: my Birthday Giveaway, which has an awesome $150+ worth of my favourite beauty products up for grabs.

Thanks so much for reading - next week is the second anniversary of me starting Girl Loves Gloss and it's finally started to grow in this last year. I've got so much to share in the upcoming weeks and months that I hope you stick around for!
