L'Oreal Does it Again with the Brow Stylist Plumper

Loreal Brow Stylist Plumper Brow Gel Review and Swatch

L'Oreal has been knocking out some incredible products lately, and I am so here for it. First, I raved about the new True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation was not only a massive hit, but is already making Holy Grail status for me. Then I was also impressed by the Brow Stylist Definer which came out in a dark brunette shade that was beautifully ashy - a rarity for the drugstore!  Now I'm hear to talk about the L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper, a tinted fibre-infused brow gel. Keep reading to see why I think L'oreal knocked it out of the park again...

Loreal Brow Stylist Plumper Brow Gel Review and Swatch

I was really skeptical when I purchased this, thinking by default it would be too warm or golden as so many brow gels are on me. My BFF had told me it rivalled Benefit's Gimme Brow for her, a product she got me on to in the first place, so I knew I needed to take the leap of faith. I picked up the L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper in the shade Medium to Dark (it also comes in Transparent and Light-Medium) and was instantly impressed by how cool toned it is!

Like the Benefit version and unlike many tinted brow gels out there, this is a fibre formula brow gel which is meant to give more beef to fine and thin brows. While I don't find it as thick or opaque as the Benefit Gimme Brow, it definitely plumps things a bit and sets the colour really well. In fact it's a better setting gel than my beloved Gimme Brow. It really gives definition to the brow hairs and then holds them in place all day, minus the nasty brow dandruff that can come from these types of products. The formula is thick enough to give each hair density, but not too much that it looks unnatural or cakey (something Gimme Brow can do occasionally)

The tube itself is the size of a mascara tube, and holds 0.27oz of product (more than double Gimme Brow) with a brush that is only about 1/2 inch long. While this isn't as tiny as Gimme Brow, or Cliniques Just Browsing Brow Mousse, I actually think I prefer the size of this brush than the really tiny ones as it doesn't deposit too much product, or apply unevenly.

When it comes to the wearbility, the performance, and the price, the L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper is another big win for the brand (and for me!). Let me know if you're tried this already, or what your favourite brow product(s) is!
