FAVOURITES | 5 Beauty Favourites for May 2014

I decided to really narrow down my favourites this month, and just pick the 5 really amazing products that stood out to me. These are things I reached for almost daily, and when you've got the kind of selection of cosmetics that I do, that really means something!

{1} Make Up For Ever 250 Extra Fine Eyeliner Brush beats em all when it comes to winged liner. The bristles stay really tightly bound together, never splaying out and inevitably ruining the whole damn thing. The firmness of the tip means you get the most precise sharp flick. You know how they say never question a girl with winger liner as to why she's late? This just helped me be on time a little more this month.

{2} Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado did wonders for my eyes this month. The formula really hydrates, plumping up any fine lines and my under eye concealer has never looked better. While this doesn't promise it, I feel like my beginners crows feet are far less noticeable than they were earlier this month.

{3} Just when I thought my love for coconut days were behind me, Comptoir Sud Pacific Coco Extreme popped up on my radar. It smells like summer tropical coconutty goodness. Not too sickly sweet, and dare I say more sophisticated when it comes to coconut? Yep, let's go with that.

{4} Put away all your other neutral palettes and go get the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette. Not joking, I've been reaching for this almost daily, which is unheard of for me. Newly revamped from its original packaging with some updated shades, this is a great mix of matte and shimmer shadows that don't have the powderyness that I used to associate with Too Faced.

{5} Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush in Captivating is the brands newest offering in their much loved blush line and it is special folks. A true peach blush is actually quite hard to find, and this nails it. Added on top of a little bronzer has me looking like I just jetted back from the tropics. Ok, so not quite but you get my drift...
