It's officially Summer in this part of the world, and my favourite time of year to rock a bright lip. I thought I'd pick three of my favourite ways to wear colour, and promise there is something for even the tentative bright lip lover.
For those who are new to the concept of bright lips, or just prefer that "I just ate a popsicle" translucent look, I am loving The Body Shop Colour Crush Shine Lipstick in #18 Sunset Romance, which is a pink grapefruit hued coral. The formula is sheer and glossy with a balm like nourishment that makes it super comfortable to slap on sans mirror.
It's no secret I love the formula of these long wearing yet pigmented glossy stains. The Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stain in #15 Rose Vinyl is a gorgeous bright rose petal pink. It brightens up the whole face and steers clear of being obnoxious or neon.
My newest bright lip love is something that is quite a bit out of my usual comfort zone, which I might secretly love. MAC Vegas Volt Lipstick from the Amplified Cream line is a gorgeous vivid coral. It goes on smooth, opaque and full coverage. For those who are a bit scared of Morange, and want something more coral rather than a straight up orange, this is worth a look!
