It's about time I did a monthly beauty favourites post - I missed last months when I was suffering from the cold from hell for a couple of weeks. You'd think I would have two months worth of favourites, but this month was about simplistic looks, glowing skin and easy to use products. It's a great mix of new and oldies but goodies including a new ultra luxe lip balm and a mainstay foundation I never want to be without!
Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel {read my review here} - I fall back in love with this every few months or so. Something about the balmy cream texture is so appealing, especially when you have dry skin. It blends onto foundation beautifully, and gives a gorgeous glow - the only drawback for me is that it only comes in one shade, which very fair skin tones might find too warm.
Kat Von D Metal Crush in 'Thunderstruck' - I would have posted an individual post on my love for this shadow, but Sephora has been sold out of it for MONTHS (if you see this come back into stock grab it!). It may look white in the pan, but it goes on a stunning white gold with peach shift. I've been patting in on my lids with my fingers almost daily this month.
Tatcha Gold Camellia Nourishing Lip Balm {read my review here} - This is a little pot of luxury! Arriving with a square of 24k gold leaf on the top, this completely clear balm is rich with Camellia oil (a Geisha must have) and gives such a plump juicy look to the lips.
Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift in 'Cara D' - I've been all about the easy brow this last month, and the triangle pointed tip of this makes precise penciling and overall filling in a snap. The shade is perfect for my dark hair, and it lasts all day.
Make Up For Ever Face & Body Foundation - An oldie but a goodie! I never like being without this, and if I still practised makeup it would be a kit must have. It sinks into skin, sets up well and then lasts all day, whilst looking almost undetectable.
China Glaze Nail Polish in 'White on White' - I've been on a bit of a teenage white polish throwback lately, and after trying several I have decided that this one performs the best and applies the easiest!
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush in 'Ecstasy' - I'm beginning to fight the urge to collect all the blushers in Charlotte's range! The texture is silky smooth and never chalky or powdery, and each one had two shades: one more illuminating blush, and the other a pop of colour. The peach tone of this is so beautiful, and I've found myself reaching for it daily!
What were your favourite products this month? Have you tried any of mine?
