This Just In | New in Beauty for April 2015

new beauty launches for april 2015 - tarte, bumble and bumble, surratt beauty, nudestix, josie maran, sephora, living proof

A new month and a slew of new beauty bits have dropped. Here's a handful of the newness that will be gracing the shelves of your local makeup and beauty haunts. What are you looking forward to trying?

Tarte TarteGuard 30 - I am really excited to try this! I've been looking for a good facial sunscreen for ages, and already being a huge fan of the brand I have no doubt this will be good! The sunscreen is mineral based and true to the brand values, no parabens or phthalates. Definitely going on the 'to buy' list!

Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illumizer - 'a concentrated liquid radiance for the face'  I love the Josie Maran Argan Oil and I'm hoping this is a more affordable version of something like the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector.

Surratt Beauty - Sephora.com is now stocking Surratt Beauty, a brand that apparently combines the elegance of Paris, innovation of Tokyo and experience of a New York makeup artist. I love when I can access new brands I never could before, and look forward to trying some things from this brand!

Sephora Pro Contour Kabuki #82 - Now I'm the first to admit I'm over the insane contouring craze, but this brush by Sephora is certainly unique to say the least. I can actually see this one having the potential to be quite good for contour (if used right) and I'll be curious to see how soft and useable it actually is.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector - I find the Living Proof stuff really hit or miss, but when it's a hit, it's a good'un. I have recently found myself loving the Perfect Hair Day styling cream (once I figured out how much was too much the hard way!) and I think this would be a loving pair to it. I'll definitely be testing this product out!

Nudestix Moisture and Blur Pencils - Nudestix came out with a bang this year with their convenient multi use pencils that have lids that house their sharpeners. Brilliant, really. Now they are addressing some skin needs, which I think is super savvy of the brand. I mean, how convenient to have a pencil to spot treat fine lines and pores, and then one for dry patches? Sign me up please.

Bumble & Bumble Surf Infusion Spray - Finally the brand that made salt sprays a household hair product takes it a step further and addresses the issues with salt sprays in the first place - dryness. This new version is infused with an oil to keep your looks beachy but also feeling great. Good call Bumble and Bumble!
