I can honestly say that the Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner has saved my skin from the brink of no return a couple times. I read about it originally last summer on Carolines blog, and I seriously haven't stopped singing her praises since. I had suffered a hideous allergic reaction that made my face super itchy, dry and rough textured. Two nights of using this toner and I was good as new - it doesn't get better than that quick when it comes to skincare.
I have dry and dehydrated skin, which has been prone to hormonal breakouts. Nothing gets my skin looking softer, more even and smooth than this, and I can tell if I have skipped it for a couple nights. Each night I swipe some of this over my face with a Shiseido Facial Cotton, and bring it down my neck. If I am having some blackheads or white heads pop up, I pay a little more attention with this. It never leaves me skin feeling tight, dried out or stinging. It gently exfoliates with glycolic, salicylic and tartaric acid but the glycerin in it soothes. Depending on your skin type you might use this every night post cleanse pre serum and moisturizer, or every other night, or just a couple times a week. My sensitive skin loves it, but bare this in mind if you are using other products that have exfoliating properties.
