MAC Viva Glam Ariana Grande 2 Swatches and Review

MAC and Ariana Grande are back at it again collaborating on another Viva Glam collection. I was a big fan of the first lipstick and lipglass launched with Ariana's name inscribed on it, and this time round is no different!

When the Mara Hoffman Collection for Sephora arrived on my doorstep not long ago I was immediately smitten with the patterns! Her whimsical and wanderlust inspired prints are so much fun, and I was thrilled to see how cohesive the collection ways. I'll be reviewing a few pieces from the collection over the next little while, but today it's all about gloss! When the release for the new Dior Addict Ultra-Glosses made it's way to my desk I was instantly excited to give them a try. Claiming to be a hydrating, plumping and barely-there in texture gloss hybrid, these definitely had some big claims - but are they the ultimate lip gloss?

Sunday Steal | Essence Liquid Lipsticks

I've got such a nice little Sunday Steal for you all this week, because the Essence Liquid Lipsticks* are little gems that can be picked up for about $3.50 at your local drugstore or Ulta! I was lucky enough to be sent these, and my first impression was that the 6 shade range was all incredibly wearable colour-wise. When you hear the term 'liquid lipstick' you expect great pigment and coverage like you would get out of a traditional lipstick bullet, so naturally I was eager to put them to the test to see if they performed they was they claimed!

If you're new to MAC Cosmetics as a brand, or have heard the term "Viva Glam" thrown out there before but didn't really get the meaning, it's a range of lip products that the brand donates 100% of the revenue from to the MAC AIDS Fund. The brand has been a pioneer in HIV/AIDS funding since the Viva Glam range was created in 1994 with the legendary RuPaul as the face, and has gone on to collaborate with some incredible stars such as Elton John, Rihanna, Boy George, Debbie Harry, Mary J Blige, Dita Von Teese, Lady Gaga and now, Ariana Grande - which I have a review and swatches of for you today!

If ever a MAC limited edition release seemed made for me! The MAC x Ellie Goulding collaboration is laced with super wearable everyday peaches and pinks. The collection screams of something I would gravitate towards and I would highly suggest if you love a great nudey-peach or golden pink, you head to your nearest MAC counter or get online now before its long gone.
