Clarins Blogger Advent Calendar

It should be no surprise to readers of GLG that I am a fan of Clarins. Their Instant Light Lip range is holy grail status for me, and I adore the Complexion Illuminating Base. So when Clarins Canada asked me to participate in their Blogger Advent Calendar, I jumped at the chance to rave even more. The Blogger Advent Calendar is featuring different bloggers throughout the month of December focusing on their favourite Clarins product, and my must-have-never-want-to-be-without-product is hands down the Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner. If there is one thing I love almost as much as talking about makeup and beauty, it's reading about it from other awesome bloggers. I think blogs are such an important way to communicate about products (hence my involvement in it!) and really help connect the average consumer with the product in a (mostly) unbiased way. A couple months ago I posted this post titled "You might be a beauty blogger when..." and thought it was kind of a fun look into what it's like to be so passionate about the makeup and beauty biz in general. Then the other day I caught myself contorting my favourite lip product of all time into something unrecognizable to get the last drop out, and my inner monologue said, "You might be a lip product junkie when..."

Ok, so tell tale fairy lights and scented candles aside, I sometimes catch myself in a "yep, for sure a beauty blogger" moment. Today's post was sparked by a one of these moments I found myself caught in when I had an inner squeal after stumbling across some skincare normally only found in the United Kingdom (you know those Brit beauty gals are lucky things!)
