It's been a little quieter around here these last couple weeks, but that doesn't mean I haven't be loving several makeup products this month. I've rounded up a handful of new and old discoveries that I've been reaching for constantly this month to share with you, so let's take a look!

Things It Took Me Too Long To Learn | Lessons in Skincare
4.23.2015Something I remember thinking what as load of you-know-what that others always told me was the old, "wait until you hit 30 and your skin changes", line. I mean, my skin had pretty much been the same my entire life - dry and relatively unscathed by blemishes (even in my teen years... I know, I got lucky!). Then I hit 30 and low and behold my skin went nuts. I started to really pay attention to my skins needs and realized there were alot of things I was a late bloomer on that probably could have helped me earlier.
This Just In | Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Mad Max Brown
4.21.2015
Well over a year ago I blogged about how Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner in Trooper was the answer to all my black liquid liner prayers. Well it's finally been released in another shade and I couldn't be more thrilled. Naturally, I stalked all my local Sephora's until I could get my hands on it - before it was even released on shelves. Determination, friends.
New Kid On the Block | Clinique Cheek Pop and Lip Colour + Primer in Melon Pop
4.17.2015There's a good chance that if a brand makes a peach hued blush and/or lip colour, then I've tried it. The obsession is real.
Recently Clinique released a slew of new shades of their much loved Cheek Pop Blushes, one being named Melon Pop - which naturally I had to have. They've also released a new lip colour line called Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer and surprise surprise, there is one named Melon Pop. I was sold.
The Great Cover Up | Which Concealer To Use and When
4.15.2015
Concealer is one of the first makeup items I remember finding intimidating. Back in my teen years it was mostly found in a lipstick like tube because the formula selection was dismal by todays standards. It was thick, cakey and often tangerine tinted. I remember all my friends just referred to it as 'cover up' - the word 'concealer' meant nothing to us.
These days, we are blessed to have concealing products in all different consistencies, as well as for various different purposes. Here are four of my favourites, and what I like to use them for...
Mascara Monday | Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
4.13.2015
I recently got my hands on the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara for a second time. I had tried it in the past and remembered it being decent for a non waterproof formula, but really couldn't remember much else about it. So I thought it was only natural to try it out again with before and afters to document my thoughts here for you all! Let's break it down, shall we?

Makeup for When You Feel Like Crap
4.08.2015
Yep, yesterday I felt like absolute rubbish. My back was tweaked and after spending about 3 hours on the road driving, I was feeling less that pretty. I know for some, makeup means nothing, but for me on a crummy day a little makeup can totally perk up my mood. So here are my picks for products that help me feel like I look my best when I feel less than fresh faced.

The Colour Line Up | The Rose Gold Edit #2
4.06.2015
Rose gold has always been one of my favourite colours; The love for rose gold goes back long before it was on trend. Having green eyes, I find pinks, coppers and rose golds really make the green pop! I've already done a rose gold colour edit way in the past, but thought it was about time to revisit one of my favourites with a handful of products in a rosy golden hue.
Sunday Steals | The Overnight Breakout Fighter: Nexcare Acne Absorbing Covers
4.05.2015It's Sunday and I'm back with another Sunday Steal post for you all. This one is a bit strange, not gonna lie, but it works like a hot damn (I was really skeptical) and can be found at your drugstore.
