6 Products to get Perfect Winged Liner Every Time: Bioderma, Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, Urban Decay Waterline Pencils, Shu Uemura Lash Curler

Winged eyeliner, or a cat eye/feline flick as it's also known, has to be one of the trickier techniques to nail when you're learning makeup. We've all seen that meme floating around about trying to make one eye match the other until you get to the point of total blackout. Today's post is a collection of products/tips that I use to get my wings flying even (see what I did there?) every time, sans panic induced hold-your-breath-and-go-for-it application.

While it's been a good stretch since I've been in that back to school frame of mind, but I do remember those days like they were yesterday (don't ask how long ago they actually were, I'll never tell!). I can remember hitting the snooze way too many times, heck I still do, and savoring every last minute of sleep... wait a minute, isn't that my day to day life now?
Regardless, here are my pics for quick and easy beauty to look wide eyed and pulled together, whether you're going back to school, back to work, or just need that 10 more minutes of shut eye.

Occassionaly I like my makeup so much I take a picture of myself and post it on the internet. I find it kind of terrifying, honestly

Choosing Makeup For A Weekend Away

Makeup for when you are travelling

My closest friends (and Mr Girl Loves Gloss) will tell you I have a makeup collection that is (borderline) ridiculous in size. Sometimes when I travel or go away it can be hard to whittle down to a few decent choices that are easy to pack and make the most impact with the least amount of bulk. So recently when I visited my folks for Mother's Day I took note of my weekend away essentials and some tips to make a minimal amount of product cover as many bases as possible.

So here are my picks for products that help me feel like I look my best when I feel less than fresh faced.

Sometimes however life gets in the way and I just need to slap something on my face to keep a polished look but get out the door in 10 minutes. These are those products, along with some tips to keep things moving fast!

CULT CLASSICS | Love It Or Leave It?

Being a beauty addict since my preteens I can distinctly remember specific products touted in my Seventeen and YM magazines (wow, remember YM? Hello Jaime, the 1993 is calling...) As I got older, certain products took cult status from the likes of Allure, Youtube and various beauty blogs. Over time, I've tried several of these so called amazing cult status beauty products, and have some pretty opinionated thoughts on many. Let's dive in, shall we...
