The One Sweep and You're Done Shadow | Clarins Ombre Iridescente in 01 Aquatic Rose

I knew the minute I swatched the Clarins Ombre Iridescente Shadow in Aquatic Rose* from the summer Aquatic Treasures Collection that it was love. Obviously my love of anything rose gold is well documented here on GLG, and this doesn't disappoint in the slightest. In fact it's quickly made it into my 'One Sweet and You're Done' pile... more on that below...

The Clarins Ombre Iridescente Eyeshadows are a cream-to-powder formula that leaves the most silky smooth texture behind. The formula is very reminiscent of L'Oreal's Infallible range or Armani's Eyes to Kill, thought I would say it felt much smoother than the latter!

Aquatic Rose is a gorgeous golden pink that applies effortlessly for me. I prefer patting on with my finger then blending the edges out with a brush for a gorgeous diffused look. Earlier I mentioned my 'One Sweep and You're Done' collection, which this falls into beautifully. These are basically the shadows that don't need any effort to look gorgeous, make enough impact on their own, and can be buffed on practically with both eyes shut when I'm in a rush. You should all have something like this in your collection for those days when that extra 10 minutes of sleep were soooo worth it!

The formula of this doesn't look crepey or patchy on the lids, but rather blends like a dream and then stays on all day minus creasing or gathering. I also don't find the shimmer migrates like some shadows of this nature do, so thats a great bonus (though this easily could be passed off as a gorgeous cheek highlight!)

Being that this shade was from the Summer 2015 limited edition collection, I urge you to order this now if it tickles your fancy, I can't imagine them being around much longer! I'll definitely be looking into more of these in the future - have you tried any of the shades in the range?
