July 2015 Beauty Favourites

July seemed like an incredibly busy month for me, and flew by (insert classic beauty blogger line about 'where did the time go?' here.) I actually think every product in July's favourites list is new to me this month, so clearly I tested a lot of great stuff - there aren't always so many hits when it comes to new launches in one month! Let's take a look at what I'm loving right now, shall we?

Illamasqua Gel Colour in Charm*
Firstly, I tried this out during a heat wave, so the cooling on contact feeling was real nice. I was so pleasantly surprised by this product, the colour pigment is gorgeous and it sticks around all day long. The portable tube and blend out with fingers ability makes it perfect for travel. I did a full Illamasqua Gel Colour review not long ago if you want more details and to see it in action!

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk*
This is totally a case of it being as good as everyone says it is. It somehow manages to adapt to every lip colour I want to wear, and glides on lip butter giving my lips a little more definition, and keeping my lip colour on longer. While the texture of this pencil is super soft and smooth, it doesn't wear down super quickly either. Clearly Charlotte has woven some sort of magic into the formula here.

Tarte Tarteguard 30*
As mentioned, we had a heatwave here in July and I was reaching for more sunscreen more often. It's been a forever ongoing battle for me to find a decent sunscreen that doesn't go too matte or cakey on my dry skin, and this just seems to make my skin look amazing. No white cast, no sticky finish, no drying matte formula - just quality SPF. I have a full review of the the Tarteguard 30 for more thoughts and details.

Clarins Ombre Iridescent in Aquatic Rose*
Another gorgeous product I loved this month was this limited edition shade from Clarins that manages to make my eyes look more green, more awake, and generally put together with one sweep on the lids. The Ombre Iridescent in Aquatic Rose has a full review with swatches and more details.

Buxom Customize Eyeshadow Bar
Another product that I did an entire post about, because apparently that is the theme of this months favourites! I fell in love with these silky shadows at first swatch and totally dig the fact that you get to customize your own palette to fit your wants and needs. I'm already planning my second!

Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser*
I honestly didn't think I would love this stuff because I'm not normally a scrubby cleansing kind of gal, but this stuff rocks. My skin feels like a baby's bum after using this, and yet it isn't scratchy, harsh or too scrubby. It also smells amazing - a bit like mandarins and apricots, which doesn't hurt. Tata Harper is a gorgeous cruelty free, 100% natural and non toxic line that is made on a farm in Vermont, how cool is that!?

There you have the six beauty bits and bobs I couldn't get enough of this month. What were your favourites? Did you try anything new?
