Instead of my usual Sunday Steals/Splurges posts, I thought I'd do something a little different this week and go with Sunday Savings. I should preface this post by saying I'm very particular about the colour pink. I have a certain type of pink I like to wear when it comes to makeup, and if the shade isn't just quite right then I am not buying it. Now, I'm not normally one for expensive or luxurious lipbalms. I've found some great options for under $10 (like my beloved Jack Black Intense Therapy!) but every once in awhile I get the chance to try something super swanky, and in this case it is the Tatcha Gold Camellia Nourishing Lip Balm. Ever since falling in love with the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, I had a feeling the brand would have a winner with their new lippie, and I was correct!

Makeup Inspired By Your Lunch? | Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette Review

I'm about to share something with you all that might make you think I am crazy: I HATE peanut butter. Yep, that's right, I hate the one thing most people love. Believe it.

So as you can imagine, when the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette showed up, inspired by the lunches of many and claiming to have a 'peanut buttery twist' I was kind of horrified...that is until I actually took a sniff of it and was pleased to find out it didn't smell of peanut butter, but rather of vanilla and chocolate. Phew! In fact, I am even more delighted to say that I really love this palette, so who woulda thought?

Sunday Steal | Essence Liquid Lipsticks

I've got such a nice little Sunday Steal for you all this week, because the Essence Liquid Lipsticks* are little gems that can be picked up for about $3.50 at your local drugstore or Ulta! I was lucky enough to be sent these, and my first impression was that the 6 shade range was all incredibly wearable colour-wise. When you hear the term 'liquid lipstick' you expect great pigment and coverage like you would get out of a traditional lipstick bullet, so naturally I was eager to put them to the test to see if they performed they was they claimed!
