I don't normally do "shop the sale" posts because I am a bit of a makeup floozy and like so many products from so many brands. Tarte, however, is one of my favourite brands ever, and it's rare I come across something from the brand I don't like. Since they have their incredible 30% Off Friends and Family Sale going on right now (it ends July 27th, so hurry!), I thought I would share some of my tried and true all time favourites from the brand!
This stuff is my holy grail, hall of fame bronzer that I go back to time and time again (and I just counted, I currently own 19 different bronzers...). On my light-medium skin it is the perfect sculpting bronzer that doesn't learn warm, but rather as a true 'tanned skin' tone. Plus, its one of the few that doesn't look dry/ashy on my dehydrated skin, and lasts the entire day without breaking up! Read my most recent review here.
Much like the aforementioned bronzer, these blushes are some of the rare few that actually last on my blush eating complexion. The pigment is gorgeous, they apply beautifully, and they stay put till I take them off with minimal fading. Completely worth the hype in my opinion! Favourites are Tipsy, Captivating, Blissful and Seduce*. You can read my most recent review of these here.
This is one of the few facial sunscreens that doesn't make my skin feel tight and chalky, nor does it cause me to break out. It leaves a glowing, hydrated look to the skin and wears well under makeup. Dry skinned folks, if you've struggled finding an SPF that doesn't dry super matte, this is for you! You can read my review here.
Unlike many of the liquid lipsticks on the market right now, these don't dry down to the point of leaving your lips looking like someone's asshole (yep, I went there!). These have a mousse texture with opaque coverage and feel comfortable on the lips. Plus there are some fantastic everyday wearables like TBT and Namaste. Review coming soon.
In a world full of neutral eyeshadow palettes, this is one of my absolute favourites. There isn't a dud in here, and the shadows all pack full pigmentation free of chalky finish. Every time I whip this bad boy out, I wonder why I put it away in the first place (I blame my ever growing makeup stash). There's also a new half shimmer half matte version of this called Tartelette in Bloom, if that strikes your fancy. You can read my review here.
When it comes to non-waterproof mascara, this is a good solid choice. I always forget how much I liked this formula, and how it really separates and lengthens my lashes. The brush never gets goopy, and it's rare I have to comb out a clump. It's fabulous for every day, those who don't want to go super dramatic, or if you want a buildable product to suit your needs. Tarteist Clay Paint Liner
I remember itching to get my hands on this so bad when it was released, and I was not disappointed! The uber black pigment in this gives me the drama I want, and the little cup on the end of the squeeze tube makes coating the brush evenly a breeze. Oh, and the fact that Tarte packaged this in a tube in the first place to minimise drying out is freaking genius. I'm amazed it doesn't get more praise to be honest! You can read my review here.
Let me know in the comments below what you favourite Tarte products are, and if you pick up anything in the sale! Don't forget to use the code FNF to get your 30% off!
