It's been a few months since I put together a good old wish list, and let's just say I was feeling like indulging myself in a little window shopping. Here's what's caught my eye this month:
This little gem has been on my wish list before, so I don't know why I haven't bit the bullet and just purchased it. I'm guessing because at the slightly higher price tag than I usually spend on a blush, I've doubted it a few times. Thing is, I know darn well that Becca's quality is tops, and that the pigment in their blushes is wonderful. Might be time to pull that trigger...
This really is such a Jaime colour. I can see this plummy purple mauve shade getting plenty of use for the Autumn/Winter months, and I am a fan of the Butter London formula. Toes and tips, this is right up my alley!
But serious, doesn't the name alone make it sound wonderful? I recently reviewed the Lip Parfait in Amaretto Swirl, and now I am curious about some of the more punchy shades. This would generally be a Spring/Summer shade, but I've never needed an excuse to crack out a good peachy coral.
Now that I've established that I very much like the new Ultra Hd Foundation from Make Up For Ever, this handy dandy stick version is at the top of my list. I love the idea of this for travel, convenience and spot precision, and the formula is apparently very creamy and highly pigmented. Something tells me this will make it from wish list to purchased very, very soon.
After swatching this on my hand a few times I can understand why I keep hearing so many people say it is one of the finest milled powders on the market; It truly feels like silk on the skin, but not in a drying way. While I have dry skin, I generally find if I don't set certain spots of my makeup with a touch of powder then things start to migrate throughout the day. I also struggle a bit more with larger pores as I've gotten older, and this is apparently one of the best blurring powders out there. Sign me up.
These beauties wont be on the North American market for a few more months, but I am beyond eager to get my hands on them! The Brits have already had this launch and I've heard nothing but raves for the foundation and its incredible smooth finish and superior coverage. The brush that is being released with it looks absolutely amazing as well. Apparently Charlotte has had this foundation developing in the works for ages, but kept sending it back to the lab until she was happy, which is why it never launched with the rest of the range originally. Now that is a passion I can put my money towards!
