Does anyone else remember celebrating New Years Y2K? Yeah, cause that was 15 years ago. Have a little moment with me to gasp and wonder where the time went.
While you're pondering that, I'll chat about the makeup products that I loved the most in 2014. Deal? Deal.

FACE
Primer: Illamasqua Hydra Veil hands down kept my makeup on the longest, whilst making it look the nicest even over large pores and dry flaky skin.
Foundation: Illamasqua Skin Base won for being the most reliable skin like medium to full coverage. I tried many bases this year, but consistently go back to this one.
Concealer: Mac Pro Longwear was my undereye concealer of choice simply because of the fact it stays put all day long.
Powder: It was Mac again with the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural. It never looks powdery and sets my foundation of choice nicely. Under the eyes I used nothing but my Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder.
Bronzer: No surprise here, Tarte Amazonian Clay Park Avenue Princess Matte Waterproof Bronzer takes the win for both longest title and longest lasting bronzy glow.
Blush: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blushes for their amazing lasting power on a face that normally eats blush by lunch. Favourite shades were Captivating and Tipsy.

EYES
Primer: Mac Prolongwear Concealer - yep that surprises you doesn't it? It keeps my shadow looking good and crease free all day. Who knew?
Cream Shadow: Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in #16 and #13. Formulated for synchronized swimmers, so you know they don't budge until you take them off with makeup remover.
Single Shadow: This is a tie between drugstore with L'Oreal's Amber Rush Infallible Eyeshadow and high end Nars Mekong Eyeshadow. Surprisingly nice together.
Eyeshadow Palette: Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette was in heavy rotation for the great balance of matte, shimmer, light and dark neutrals.
Eyeliner: A threeway tie here because Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Crayon in Ro(cocoa) was my everyday shimmery chocolate brown and Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper was the ultimate precise black winged liner, and of course Mac Chromagraphic Pencil in NC15 NW20 was the ultimate waterline brightener.
Mascara: L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Waterproof Mascara hands down made my lashes look their best. Many tubes later I am still comparing everything new I try to this.

BROWS
Powder: Mac Eyeshadow in Concrete to fill in.
Setting Gel: Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep to make them look real.

LIPS
Balm: Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm in Mint kept my lips in the best condition they've ever been in.
Lipstick/Lip Colour: YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Levres Glossy Stain in #27 Peche Cerra-Cola (phew say that 3 times fast!) is the perfect peach lip for me. For a gorgeous undupable (so far!) pinked purple go for #16 Pourpre Preview
Lip Gloss: Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in #05. No surprise here is there folks?
