So, I'm not normally the type to talk about how much makeup goodness I buy, but the parcels and boxes were starting to collect in my office, and I thought It might be fun to round up some of the new bits I've bought, and give a quickie first impression/what's going back. Let's take a gander at this ridiculous haul of embarrassing proportions, shall we?
Something I've already raved about here on GLG - Tarte's Tartlette Palette was the kick off to this haul. It's amazing, go buy it.
The Repeat Buys:
YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres in #16 - the ultimate pinked purple that 100% always gets a compliment on.
Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel - for some serious skin smoothing and clearing.
Chanel Chance Eau Tendre - my signature scent.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked - as the name suggests this is a swipe and go your lips but better shade that doesn't look too 'done'.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in #05 - Absolute holy grail status here. You all know its my fave.
The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter - gets waterproof makeup off in seconds and makes an awesome first cleanse.
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads - an awesome acid toning step that is super convenient for travel.
Mac Extended Play Gigablack lash Mascara - for the lower lashes; It's all I'll use.
The Already Loved It In Another Shade:
Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in #13 - #16 has been a long time favourite, so it was time to get something less pink and more champagne.
Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Brown(out) - read yesterdays blog post about this gorgeous shade!
Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Stick Crayon in Burnished Bronze - you can read this post about my foray into these this past holiday season.
Complete Newness:
Buxom Full Bodied Lip Gloss in Hello Lover - gorgeous peachy coral, need I say more?
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in #15 Corail Intuitive - I really wanted the pigmentation to be better on this, it basically was a tinted balm. Not gonna lie, this one went back, because $39 for a barely there pink just didn't sit well with me.
Illamasqua Cream Pigments in Hollow and Androgen - Hollow is the much talked about contour colour, and I can see why, and Androgen is a peachy pink that makes a gorgeous cream blush.
Butter London Trout Pout - a polish I have wanted for ages, and have probably bought 10 coral nail polishes trying to dupe. It was time.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir - another blogger raved product, which smells spa like and feels lovely. Would I shell out $53 for the full size... not sure.
Sephora Solid Brush Cleanser - another one that went back the minute I got a sniff of it. The 'warm Moroccan fragrance' didn't do it for me.
Kat Von D Lock-It Featherweight Primer - as posted about the other day, I was pretty excited to try this. Thoughts coming soon!
The Body Shop Facial Massager - You all know by now how much I adore Skincare Queen Caroline Hirons, and I know she's a fan of this little contraption so I finally caved I bought it. I'm keeping it right next to the computer to be diligent, and it does feel quite nice!
Ok, I think that is everything... I'll amend the post if I've forgotten anything. I know... but I warned you in the post title that I bought everything.
What have you hauled lately?
