July seemed like one of those "all over the place" months for me, and I found myself getting a bit routine with my makeup. Not that routine is bad, but it is easy and when your other half says, "hey, lets go to Las Vegas!" and its 42 degrees outside (that upper 110's for you Americans) then routine, easy, and quick are all words that play into ones vocab. Let's take a look into the five bits I didn't want to be without this past month, shall we?

TRIED IT, BOUGHT IT
7.07.2014
While I am responsible for my fair share of fall in love at the store and impulsively buy it moments, occasionally I am a bit more responsible and get a sample to try before I buy. I've found out I loved, and hated, many products this way, and here's a few I am so glad I was given the chance to try, because I may never have taken the plunge without the nudge.

WANTED | Hard to Get Beauty Bits
7.04.2014
Every once in a while I fall in love with reviews or raves over products, right them down on my wishlist and drool over them online, only to realize they aren't available to me here in Canada. It's a real bummer! Sometimes they make their way here eventually, and other times they never do. Here's a little list of some of the talked about bits I'm really wanting to get my hands on these days...

FLOPS | 5 Beauty Letdowns for June 2014
7.03.2014
Every month I bring forth my favourite beauty bits, but lets face it, there are always a few duds (hey, it happens to us all!) So lets go through the five items that flopped for me in June - no offence if they are your very favourite of life product, they just didn't work for me. Ok? Ok.
NEW KID ON THE BLOCK | Nars Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow
7.02.2014
The newest product offering by uber sleek brand Nars is an eyeshadow that promises "A creaseless, 8-hour wear eye shadow with a transformative texture for wet or dry application". I picked three of the Nars Dual-Intensity Eyeshadows up the morning my local Sephora was putting them on the shelf, and put them to the test.
