GAME CHANGERS | 5 Products That Make Life Easier


Sometimes you just stumble across a product that just makes you wonder what you did before you discovered it. I've collected five of my favourite game changing products that I don't want to be without. Ever.

1. Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder is a finely milled powder made to perfectly set your under eye concealer budge proof, and it works like a charm. It appears to have a slight sparkle when swatched on skin, but under the eyes it sets your concealer without oxidizing, keeping it bright and crease free all day, minus the Cullen-like shimmer.

2. I've waxed on about the Illamasqua Hydra Veil here plenty, so I wont bore you. All I'll reiterate is that nothing makes my makeup look fresher longer, last longer and go on smoother. Period.

3. Surely all pencil sharpeners are the same, right? Wrong. After chewing up one too many soft kohl pencils I opted for the Urban Decay Grindhouse, and haven't turned back since. With a spot for standard and chubby pencils, its an easy sell.

4. Another favourite on GirlLovesGloss is the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector. A gloss and balm in one, this keeps my lips feeling and looking smooth, and forever lives in my purse because the shade 05 just seems to go with everything.

5. The good old MAC 266 Brush, no other angled liner brush can compare (oh, went a little Sir Mixalot there, didn't I?) Something about the way these bristles are (hand) cut just does the job so much better and quicker than any other I've tried. I've got one for brows, and one for liner, and will forever repurchase.
