The Accessory Edit : What I've Been Loving Lately & Discount Code

Daniel Wellington Watch Discount, Stella & Dot Summer 2016 Jewellery

You may not know this about me, but in my former life I was a metalsmith (for almost 10 years!). This means I have made a lot of jewellery and accessories over the years, and pretty much never bought myself anything up until recently. As you may have read last week though, I'm obsessed with my new Daniel Wellington Classic Bristol Watch*, which has had me thinking about switching up my new accessories again. I get asked a lot about the rings I wear in my pictures, so I thought I'd do a post all about accessorizing! Keep reading to see read about which pieces I wear everyday, and the new ones I am loving for summer (along with a fab discount code!).

The piece of jewellery I get the most compliments on hands down is my large pearl ring. I adore pearls and am a June birthday, which means pearl is my birthstone. I love the contemporary look of this ring, and how it's not your classic dainty pearl ring with its thick 14k gold cigar style band. If you can believe it, this ring is several decades old; My grandmother had it custom made and wore it though my childhood until she very generously gifted it to me a couple of years back. I've worn it every day since.
While I love the gold in my pearl ring, I like mixing it up with sterling silver for the other two I wear. On my left hand next to my pearl, I wear a beaded sterling pinky ring, and on my right I wear a set of four stacking rings, one of which has an aquamarine. These rings I fabricated for myself.

The second most complimented piece of jewellery is my sterling silver hammered bangle that was made by my good friend CG. He makes incredible sterling silver forged jewellery, and at an absolute steal of a price. have a few pieces of his and they've been through the wars with me and still look amazing!

The new editions to my accessory wardrobe are this gorgeous Gilded Path Double Wrap Bracelet* that my lovely Stella & Dot Stylist Mary suggested knowing I wanted something mixed metals. The metal beaded is all hand embroidered onto the genuine white leather, and then there is a handy snap closure eliminating ties or buttons that are not easy to manage one handed. If you're looking for some fun affordable accessories, give Mary a shout - she's got great taste! I've already got this Pave Chevron Cuff on my wishlist...

Secondly, as you all know I am dying for my new Daniel Wellington Classic Bristol Watch. I adore the rose gold with the chocolate leather, the large unisex style face and clean lines. Since owning it, I've had several men and women compliment me on it!
If you missed my first post showing off my new pretty then take note: The lovely folks at Daniel Wellington allowed me to give you all a super discount! Right now until June 13th 2016, they have a wicked deal on where you can get a second strap free with your watch purchase (thats a $65 value!), free worldwide shipping via UPS, and with the discount code GIRLLOVES they will give you 15% off!
I'm so in love with this watch I am already thinking about a second one (perhaps the warmer tones Classic St. Mawes?)
What is your favourite accessory? What accessory are you most likely to change day to day?
