ALL ABOUT OIL | Sephora's Beauty Oil Essentials Kit

We quite often get the phrase "oil free" rubbed in our faces, don't we? The word "oil" seems to always have a negative connotation to it, but lets get one thing straight, oil does not equal grease. I always harp on about how there are so many products out there these days for oilier skin types, and so few for us dry skinned gals, so when I saw the Sephora Favorites Beauty Oil Essentials Kit and noted that it had a few products I already had my eyes on I knew I had to pick it up.

FREE MAKEUP | Back 2 MAC'ing

Whilst MAC lipsticks aren't my most coveted lipstick formula, I can't pass up the chance to get a couple for free! My collection has been lacking some more neutral swipe and go type shades for a while, so when I collected up 12 empties, I quickly headed to my local MAC counter to cash em in!

HAIR WOES | Growing It Out

You may remember a post of mine several months ago titled "It Grows Back" where I chatted about how I hastily chopped off 10 inches of hair. I haven't spoke about hair since, because quite frankly, it's been a sore subject for me. While the actually hair cut I got was cute (no fault to my hair dresser on this one) the length was just not good for me. It made it incredibly hard for me to style, and made my super thin fine straight hair painfully obvious. I just isn't working, and I wont lie, my confidence has taken a beating for it. I realize that sounds a bit vain, but I'm being super honest here folks. 

So forward 3 plus months later and I ask myself, is there anything I can actually do about this??

I'm not normally one to make New Years Resolutions, mainly because I feel like it is setting yourself up for certain disaster. This year though I decided to write out a short few beauty related in my Wunderlist app as more of a, "gee, I'd like to accomplish this" in 2014 list.
