The Sun Safety Series : Coppertone Clearly Sheer

Welcome to a new series that will run throughout the summer focusing on safe sun practices and reviews of sunscreens in all price ranges! As a former tanning bed lover turned SPF advocate, I've made it my duty to get all my family and friends wearing sunscreen every time they go outdoors. Since I find choosing the right SPF product tricky, I'll be testing out several over the next two months to share with you all and hopefully shed some light on how you can protect your skin from sun damage, skin cancers and a myriad of other issues caused my pollution and UVA/UVB rays. 

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream

I suppose it is time I had this much-hyped, ridiculously long-named product here on Girl Loves Gloss. I'm of course talking about the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream* (seriously, could there be any more words in that name!?). The brand claims that this product combines a full coverage color correcting ("CC") cream with an anti-aging serum, and a broad spectrum physical SPF of 50. Besides these huge claims, the product has a huge following so I knew it was time to put it to the test.

Sunday Splurge | Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream

Here's a little #SundaySplurge for you that may very well take your skin from looking alright to looking absolutely amazing. Every time I treat my face to the much hyped Charlotte's Magic Cream, I am blown away not only for how incredible it feels on the skin, but how wonderful it makes my skin look. The name hits the nail on the head when it comes to this product - it really does seem like a bit of magic.

July seemed like an incredibly busy month for me, and flew by (insert classic beauty blogger line about 'where did the time go?' here.) I actually think every product in July's favourites list is new to me this month, so clearly I tested a lot of great stuff - there aren't always so many hits when it comes to new launches in one month! Something I remember thinking what as load of you-know-what that others always told me was the old, "wait until you hit 30 and your skin changes", line. I mean, my skin had pretty much been the same my entire life - dry and relatively unscathed by blemishes (even in my teen years... I know, I got lucky!). Then I hit 30 and low and behold my skin went nuts. I started to really pay attention to my skins needs and realized there were alot of things I was a late bloomer on that probably could have helped me earlier.
