I'd love to incorporate some more fashion focused posts here this year, and in turn challenge myself to actually be more fashionable. I recently bought these Kate & Mel Boots and thought I'd do up an edit of items that would style well together, thus the beginning of the What to Wear Series -Welcome to Vol #1.

SUMMER WARDROBE STAPLES

I've treated myself to a little shopping recently, and found some pieces I know will be staples in my wardrobe all summer long. Amongst essentials are big sunnies, denim, a long maxi skirt (loving the pattern on this and its partially lined so no one sees the bits you don't want showing off, but then nice and lightweight for the summer swelter) my forever complimented mint Chucks, a whole-y crocheted sweater to toss over tanks (oh and a million tanks in all colours!)

What are your must haves fashion wise for this summer? I'm going for that comfy chic, I look effortlessly put together look. We'll see how that works out...
