Another month behind us and I have another handful of products that I found myself really loving. Five out of six of these were new to me in the month of August, making it a pretty successful month for newness. Let's take a gander, shall we...

I am always a little leary of trying new skincare, but I was in need of a new cleanser for a second cleanse. Since I have struggled with sensitive skin, I thought i'd give the Clinique Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser a go, and it totally lives up to its name. Its a gentle gel cream that doesn't foam or strip the skin in any way, and my skin has never looked so smooth and even in tone, which leads me to my next favourite, and oldie but a goodie - Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation. I used to only be able to wear this on good days because I felt like it was too light to cover some of the red patches I used to get. Since my skin has soothed itself a bit, this has been my go to for summer. A light coverage, SPF included, swipe it on with fingers no need for powder foundation that has made morning that much quicker!
In the colour department there are too products I've been using religiously since I bought them, the Ardency Inn Rose Gold Pigment (read my post about it here) and Tarte's Blush in Tipsy. Both give that youthful glow any girl wants and wear all day long. The blush is a tangerine coral that isn't as scary in pot as on cheek, I promise, and the shadow is like the name suggests - a true rose gold.
Another new product that surprised me this month was the Anastasia Brush #12. Previously a devote MAC 266 lover for my brows, this was has really won me over. Its tightly packed bristles make it easy to have neat and tidy brows and the spoolie on the other end blends it all out. Another time saver in the morning!
Finally a fragrance love at first sniff. If you know me, then you know I am uber picky when it comes to scents as most give me a one whiff and instant headache vibe. You might also know then I have this weird obsession with the smell of old school sunscreen via my childhood, I just love the smell of it. Bobbi Brown's Beach Eau de Parfum embodies that into this timeless "summer beach house after dinner swims in the ocean" type vibe that just makes me happy and nostalgic. Luuuurve it.
