With the dawn of 2016, I can't help but look back on the last year and reflect on some of the highs, and lows of the beauty industry. Revisiting a Classic | Mac Spice Lipliner

Given that it's Thursday at time of post, I thought it might be fun to do a bit of a Throwback Thursday and pick up a product that is a total cult classic and something I remember loving many moons ago. Every 90's girl own MAC's Spice Lip Pencil, and I was no exception! Was it really as good as we all thought it was? Or was it just on trend (much like Kylie Jenner has done for MAC's Whirl Pencil)

Recently I've been all about revamping my favourite shades I rocked in the 90s (yep, I was a teenager in the 90s.. cough, don't tell anyone). I'm talking a slick of liner, rosy nude cheeks and and pinky brown lip liner. Thankfully I feel like I'm pulling it off which much more finesse than I did in '95... don't worry, there was no hair mascara, cheek glitter or silver eyeliner used in this look!

Sunday Steals | The $3 Your Lips But Better Lipstick I'm Loving

I've never considered myself a complete slave to high end luxury makeup, but the idea of smearing a $3 lipstick on my lips always took me back to the days of frosty pink beige Wet n Wild lipsticks from my teenage years. You know the ones - waxy, greasy, powdery scented and sometimes gritty cheapo lipsticks that really we're only worth the pocket change they were. Then I found this little gem - a 'your lips but better' lippie that I easily would have been fooled into thinking cost 6 or 7 times the price...
